Visit Elland Pubs – Where is Elland?

Elland is 3.5miles south of Halifax with the River Calder and the Calder and Hebble Navigation Canal both running through Elland. There is Cromwell Nature Reserve and a water skiing lake along the valley to Brighouse making Brighouse is a pleasant 45- 60 minute walk away from Elland on the canal path, the Calderdale Greenway/ Cycle Route 66.

Elland is on Junction 24 M62, a 5-minute drive away. Elland is 5 miles from Shibden Hall, about 10 minutes by taxi or car, the setting for the hugely popular Gentleman Jack, the BBC/HBO series starring Suranne Jones.
