YORK – ST NICHOLAS CHRISTMAS FAIR 2023 -Parliament Street & St Sampson’s Square
The St Nicholas Christmas Fair in York runs from 16th November – 22nd December on Parliament Street and St Sampson’s Square with the famous alpine chalets that have appeared on the streets of York since 1992, creating a winter wonderland within the medieval city of York. 2023 sees the St Nicholas Christmas Fair’s 31st anniversary so in celebration the market will be even bigger and better than usual with a huge array of local traders, artisan products, live entertainment and pop-up bars.
HEBDEN BRIDGE – YORKSHIRE CHRISTMAS MARKET 2023 – George Square and Crown Street
Set in beautiful Calderdale’s Hebden Bridge with over 60 stalls offering local produce, artisan food, drink and unique crafts and a new international street food section. Hebden Bridge Christmas Market is on Saturday 25 November 9am until late and Sunday 26 November, 9am until 4pm.
Hebden Makes Christmas December 2023
Over 100 local artists are staging the second “Hebden Makes Christmas” art, craft and Open Studios event. Entry to all venues is free. Some of the Hebden Makes Christmas venues are in old buildings and artists’ homes, nearly all are accessible and all are welcome and will be like the Christmas Markets of old, with handcrafted gifts and where buyers get to meet the makers.

Atmospheric Whitby’s free seaside Whitby Christmas Market and Festival runs from 17th -19th November and has plenty of activities to get involved in, trader’s offerings to explore and local food and drink aplenty.
MALTON CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL 2023 – Market Place
TV chef James Martin’s hometown of Malton prides itself on being Yorkshire’s food capital and the Malton Christmas Festival on Saturday 2nd – Sunday 3rd December shows why it is so named. There is a huge array of the best local and festive produce including freshly prepared turkeys and macrons – with plenty of mulled wine to sip, of course! BEVERLEY – MADE IN EAST YORKSHIRE CHRISTMAS MARKET 2023 – Saturday Market
Taking place in Beverley on Wednesday 6th – Friday 8th December, with themed entertainment, it showcases produce and crafts made exclusively by East Yorkshire businesses in Saturday Market, Beverley, 10am to 4pm.
There is a free park-and-ride bus service from Beverley Racecourse to Beverley town centre on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The event proceeds Beverley’s iconic Festival of Christmas on Sunday, December 10th 2023 when the centre of Beverley is transformed into a magical Christmas shopper’s wonderland with 110 stalls of Christmas gifts and local treats.
SHEFFIELD CHRISTMAS MARKET 2023 – Fargate, Town Hall Square & Peace Gardens
Running from 16th November to Christmas Eve, Sheffield’s Christmas market is a huge and enjoyable destination with over 50 festive log cabins the Big Wheel and Santa’s Grotto.

THE GREAT YORKSHIRE CHRISTMAS FAIR 2023 – The Great Yorkshire Showground
From Thursday, November 30th to Sunday 3rd December, The Great Yorkshire Showground hosts its large indoor Christmas Fair with 165 traders plus there are 2 restaurants, a cafe, a champagne bar, and free parking. HARROGATE CHRISTMAS FAYRE 2023 – Oxford Street, Cambridge Street & Market Place
Classy Yorkshire Christmas markets running from 1st- 17th December are set in Harrogate’s iconic pedestrianised shopping streets with over festive 50 traders. Mondays – Saturdays: 10am – 7pm

KNARESBOROUGH CHRISTMAS MARKET 2023 – Market Place
Saturday 2rd – Sunday 3th December sees Knaresborough Christmas Market with a huge number of independent festive traders – and many visitors love to also see the stunning Christmas Tree Festival at St John’s Church, with over 70 beautifully decorated trees.
SKIPTON CHRISTMAS MARKET 2023 – High Street
The successful weekly Skipton Market goes festive on the first two Sundays of December – 3rd and 10th December – with mulled wine, choirs, brass bands, seasonal entertainment and live music.
DONCASTER CHRISTMAS MARKET 2023 – Wool Market
King Charles III conferred city status for Doncaster on Wednesday 9 November 2022 during his visit. Doncaster City Christmas Market has lots of stalls offering food, drinks, sweets, Christmas treats and festival activity entertainment. Christmas Market and Christmas Lights Switch-on is on Saturday, November 25th 2023 2 pm to 6 pm.
Visit Doncaster Christmas Cabins from December 2nd to December 16 for lots of great gifts and food and drink stalls at the Frost Festival Christmas Cabins, situated in the area around Clock Corner and between Frenchgate and Doncaster Market.
